Hi guys. I would appreciate any advice. Rain is always struggling. I don't understand it. It's a 10mb line. Why is everything dedicated to upload bandwidth? Really frustrating, been like this for a year. See attached pic.

Thank you kindly, regards

Improve the signal quality with an antenna that fits your current router, perhaps?
I'm using a mobile router at the moment unfortunately, one of those Huawei ones. If the download speed is testing full then it shouldn't be an antenna issue though, or is that not correct?

Check the specs on the model number of the router to see of it can be attached to an external antenna.

In the meantime, try to move the router to a different section inside your home to see if coverage can be improved.

Thanks for the reply bud, it's a bit of a tricky one as I have tried that before, but there's two people that use the router at different ends of the premises, so a spot that works is hard to find. I tried an extender, just one of those little ones that plug directly into a wall socket, but the connection also seemed to struggle. I was hoping it was an issue on their side and that someone could confirm this before I try to phone them. Maybe need to upgrade it and get the 5g router and then use the extender.

There's no "line" as such. Think of rain as a shared WiFi hotspot. Everyone is downloading. There's no bandwidth left, so the speed drops, for everyone. Conversely, most people do not upload much, hence there is plenty bandwidth upstream.

Your good upload speed already rules out a signal issue.

Rain is oversubscribed in your area.

This makes a lot of sense, I appreciate the reply.
