Please recomend Wireless headphones

The misses is going to be studying from now until march, this means absolute silence every evening from now till then.

So i'm looking to get a set of wireless headphones that I can plug in to the TV, the distance is 2-3 m.

I might be wrong but for these to work with a television you would need one of these as well?

I bought a cheap JVC set a year or two ago, but had interference on the signal, had to junk it.

Then bought this :

I would rather go with the second option Phillips fm set. The first option looks like infrared which picks up interference easier and you'll lose sound if someone pass between you and the base station.

Yes you would.

I have a laptop that is connected to my TV which I use for my media and streaming.
so I use the Bluetooth from the laptop.

Yes, but I was the one saying that the R500 sets don't work.

Ye, but honestly if they are R500 worth of rubbish then I want to know. If the real thing cost 2k then I need to know.

If your TV has Bluetooth you really want Bluetooth headphones, they're the best.
