I did say I'm a beginner, so pse do not take my comments seriously, but here goes:

I really like the third pic : of the De Doorns snow. Lovely contrast with the landscape. I personally would have had a bit less sky & more of the nice textured fields in the pic foreground. Is it my imagination or is the landscape slightly tilted/skew?

2nd fav would be the 2nd pic of the flower (lilly) with reflection in the water. I love the simplicity of the image. I do however find the lilly a bit 'soft' - I would have preferred a slightly sharper image of the lilly itself.

The last image of the landscape doesn't actually do anything for me? My eye doesn't actually find anything to 'settle' on. Maybe the foreground image needs to be a bit sharper?

The parrot is cute, but my least preferred of the bunch.

Well there you go then - critique from someone who knows bugger-all :)
 
I'm also a noob , but the photos look a bit soft to me - other than that I like them. My photos looked the same when I re-sized for web, until I recently discovered unsharpen settings specifically for web photos (duh, I suppose :p). Made a big difference.

Something in the range of -

Amount - 150
Radius - 0.2
Threshold - 0

Or maybe I just have no idea what I'm talking about :)
 
Landscape - hmmm... dunno. Doesn't grab me. Maybe someone else can give better crit on this one.

DeDoorns - This I like, but the sky didn't play along and it sort of merges with the mountain on the left of the frame. But otherwise I think its a nice shot.

Flower - I think you were going after the reflection on the water thing, but I don't think it quite works here. The leaves under the water surface makes the reflection unpleasant. A better shot would be to capture the flower more from an overhead angle.

Parrot - There is nice focus on the eyes, but I personally would like a little more DOF. There is some action which your eye is drawn to - the thing he is doing with his beak and wing - but its out of focus which is disturbing.

Anyway... these are only my (uneducated) opinions
 
Thanks so far, yes I know these shots are not near what they could be, I'm still learning myself. Just a pity I dont have much time spare to experiment. But This is how I learn, through critique.
