"There was a BTS down along Malibongwe."

@r00igev@@r

Why does Iburst have a incident report section on their website if it's not being used? First thing I do when experiencing bad connections is check the incident report. What a waist time.

Combined with all the accounts issues, iburst are really a bit of a mediocre company and it seems they just don't care.

Thanks @JasonX, but incident reports are only loaded when a cause has been identified which is not immediate. The network status is on this url http://www.iburst.co.za/neuvo.aspx?link=service_support_network (right now you will notice there is an outage under Other: Kimberly)

The incident report section is up to date and includes all the latest reports for which a cause as been identified.

I am not aware of either Cell C, MTN or Vodacom having a network status of incident reports section? (I have searched their sites and cannot see any links?)

There hasn't been any major accounts issues for well over a year now and any issue is an individual situation which will be happily resolve and address.

Definitely better than earlier, give it another hour and I'm pretty sure I could hit the 1Mb/s mark :) Sigh at congested tower though I guess :(

Not sure I undertand. If the BTS "was" down then surely a cause was identified, still I dont see that incident on the incident report. Anyway, why does it only reflect once a cause has been identified. Surely your subscribers needs "live" reports even if a cause was not yet identified it needs to be on the incident report, this might lead to less calls to your helpdesk.

Sorry don't agree with that statement. Every month I receive an incorrect statement. Bet you I am not the only one. Actually just got off the phone with accounts now. Age analysis on my account states I owe money for 120days+. After speaking to them I dont actually owe any money. Still holding thumbs that there might be a month when I receive a correct statement and don't have to phone accounts for clarification.

First time ever that I have seen anywhere near 2Mbps on International, never mind over that speed.

What have you done to break the 2 Mb/s speed barrier? Feeding the Silver Surfer steroids?

Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe!
Usually sits at between 900k and 1,3Mbps, but when I did that speedtest it went over 2.
Not once either, did another 6 tests to make sure and all of them were over 2Mbps on the International tests. All Hail the Silver Surfer!
