I would not be surprised if it happens, as all the efficient once went to COPE

This is fantastic, most of the reasons for the by-elections in the Western Cape were:
"The ward was previously represented by the African National Congress and became vacant due to the resignation of the councillor."
And there are no ANC candidates standing for election!

The website sucks, I cant see if I should be voting today or not. Shouldn't there be some kind of campaign to inform voters that they should vote, if I hadn't seen this thread I would never have known anything about it. Maybe that's the way they want it? Or maybe I'm just not reading enough newspapers.
