Please!!

howdy

ok, so last week i did the google chrome thing. yesterday i ran a complete computer scan which took 4 hrs and it found a whole lot (about 60+) tracing cookies which it "moved to the virus vault" (where's that anyway?). i go online today, been on for about 20 min, open another tab then close it - and guess what - BAM "internet explorer has stopped working...internet explorer restarting" WTF!!!!:mad:

AND YET AGAIN NOW!! STARTED DOWNLOADING FIREFOX AND BOMBS OUT AGAIN! I AM GETTING REALLY ANNOYED!! :mad:

And yet again - new record now - 2 min and it was down :mad:

Seriously, everyone told you to use firefox. Why dont you just give it a try? Its much better than IE.
 
ok, finally got it!

/wonders where my favourites menu went?
/cracks open a can of the best - cola coca
//lights up a cig
/wonders if i'll have to start a new favourites menu once i find where the hell it is on ff?
/guesses i shoulda imported stuff from IE when prompted huh?
/wonders why kitten chooses to dux half on & half off keyboard - will investigate

/sees favourites appears to be "most visited" now

m'kay, so far so good - no incidents. i have 4 tabs open at the mo', haven't tried closing any yet. and it is quicker.

A big thank you to everyone for their help and suggestions <3

now, how do i get the li'l connection piepie thingy to stay in the iburst card thingy? i just blink (seems even that is to much movement - i've got my laptop on my lap) and it loses contact and the light goes orange?

My "li'l connection piepie thingy" keeps falling out the whole time too! :eek: that's why I don't touch it anymore!
 
ok, problem with firefox, bare in mind i've been using IE for years, that's all i've ever used actually. i try and watch youtube vids with ff and it tells me i've got an old version of adobe flash player, so i click:

-get the latest flash player
-agree and install now
-there's a note for ff users = For Firefox users, please see the Installation Instructions.
-click on installation instructions, this comes up

-i don't see a tab that says edit options, and i don't know how to, as kirk would say "make it so". how do i do this please? on windows vista
-my ff, uh, bars are still very clean. i don't have my li'l buttons and menus i had for IE (oh why didn't i import when prompted!!)
-all i have is most visited, getting started, latest headlines

found summing that's like the favourites menu, so that's something - the scrapbook :)

i did it, i dunno how, but i managed to install flash player
