How does one go about firing a president? I'm not impressed with him at all lately.

I say the ex deputy minister of health would be the perfect candidate at the moment, she'll hold them all accountable after the treatment she's received.

I want to get this report and see the report on Ivy....
We need to get all non-performing ministers fired... Manto first, then Ivy...

No, the rot starts at the top. Fire Thabo first, and hire someone who will hold the ministerial clowns accountable. Their jobs need to be performance-based.
 
That's a damning report, the question remains; will anything come of it?
 
I'm afraid, I doubt if we'll be so lucky to get rid of Manto (or Tbone)
He only fires the guys he don't like (J Zuma) or ppl that don't agree with his policies (dep MoH).
Manto was one of his buds, like his mama during the struggle, making sure his zip's closed when he goes outside :D , so as long as Thabo's in gov, so will Manto be, no matter what she's done :(
The deadwood friends and far off family will stay if he has the say....
 
Manto's hubby holds the keys to the ANC's Pandora's box so to speak.
 
 
Ja well. Its actually amusing that the call for her sacking was prompted by reports of her alcoholism and possible abuse of power in aquiring a healthy liver.
Clearly she should have been sacked long ago simply because she is grossly incompetent and probably corrupt as all hell.
 
TB, that article is seven years old.

There is more than enough current Manto bad news around without having to be reminded of the highlights of her career :)

Unfortunately there is no chance of accountability in the foreseeable future for our country.

While the anc holds the majority it does, that might as well do whatever they please.
 
Imagine if Mbeki did actually clean house one day - there'd hardly be anyone left to support his bid to re-election as the ANC president.

I think that that is the real reason not to expect Manto's imminent dismissal.
 
Wouldn't have been so bad if he'd disciplined his supporters in the beginning. Unfortunately, as a few got off, so the rest realised that they were untouchable. This is not the way to run a government.
