Plex and ReadyNas

Hi

Hope you guys can maybe assist.

I have a ReadyNas 316 with 6 X 3TB drives linked up to my modem and can access it via my pc and map drives to access shows saved on the Nas drive.

My problem is I have plex installed on a Mygica 582 and can't get anything to stream on plex, I have activated some of the needed stuff in kodi but it still does not want to stream, it also gives me an error on the top of mu screen "can not connect to readynas" and "can not find ReadyNas"

So can someone please help with this as it is driving me crazy.

The Mygica has the Plex client, you need a Plex server too. Install Plex server on the PC and setup to use the NAS.


EDIT: You can also try ES File explorer on the Mygica and see if you can access the share.

EDIT: Sorry, I see the ReadyNas 316 has a Plex server app, I assume you already install and set it up...

I have installed it on the mygica and ons my pc, but it still does not stream the content on the mygica both the android app and kodi plex addon

Yes, I have installed Plex on the ReadyNas already, but can't get strrams to work in Kodi. So looking for advice as how to set it up with kodi.

So I got it sorted out last night seems I had to wait for the library to finish its sync
