Those of you that own the Premium Plex Pass, what features do you make use of that is not possible with the Free version?

I honestly don't even know what features I use that are Plex Pass only but every so often someone will ask how to do so and so with Plex, I will tell them exactly how only for them to say they don't have that option.

Multi user logon
Mobile sync

and the premium music meta data to manage my mp3's

What exactly is mobile sync? I can view remote content on my android phone on free.

That premium music is why I bought the pass yet I do not get what it is about? I thought it was like Spotify/Deezer.

can sync content from plex server to phone for offline viewing , it transcodes the content and is smaller on the phone.

the premium music part , just gives better meta data on the mp3's from what i can tell - does just pull meta data based on id3 tag , but on other parts of the mp3 - almost like Shazam for the meta data- so picks up alot of tags that was not completed. - called audio fingerprinting as per plex pass.

been messing with plex cloud , so my family can watch my content from cloud and not streaming from my local PMS as i don'y have decent uploads speeds , but fibre will make plex cloud pointless.

ah forgot the plex app in Kodi is nice - i prefer plex interface for local content over kodi , but the is just me , know some people like kodi's layout better. been using Plex forever and it is hard to adjust.

High def album art. Pulls in 'on tour' info for artists in your library. Adds 'play extra' to context menu which streams videos for the song from Vimeo. Lastly: Plex Mix: smart playlist based on your first selection.

The two features I use the most, is the offline syncing and the photo uploading.

You can set up the offline syncing to sync just new content, and it syncs watched statuses back to Plex when you connect again, this is really nice when you're watching things at home and on the go at the same time, it's always in sync.

If I had a faster internet connection, I'd also look at using the Cloud sync option, so you can watch your stuff in the cloud instead.

It’s less than $100 for lifetime again.
Code is RELAX24
It’s possibly worth it, Jellyfin works but it’s definitely not as slick and fast but then again some people say Plex development has slowed drastically and bugs take an age to get fixed. I’m still undecided whether to take the leap.
I dont think Jellyfin supports downloading to client devices, thats quite a handy feature?

Would have been worth it if I was still running plex on my NAS but I moved it to an old Mac Mini and cancelled my sub.

Emby, maybe ...

Another media server, aka Jellyfin or Plex

Was on one awhile back, and could down load media files fine.
I switched from Kodi/Osmc to Jellyfin. Best thing ever. Can stream remotely including IPTV service channels. My streaming service only allows one stream, but with having it set up on Jellyfin, it does more than one stream.
