Plex Server + htpc + pi + dstv now

hi

so i would really like some advise.

network setup : 4mb uncapped adsl in my neighbors house ) i have a linksys range extender in my house broadcasting the same wifi network throughout the house.

i have a mini pc connected to an external hdd with windows which will be running a plex server and the plex home theatre application on the same mini pc in the lounge. this is connected to the wifi network.

in my bedroom i have a pi2 with rasplex connected to the plex server.



what streaming services can i add to my plex?

can i connect the dstv now (my father has a premium plan with the pvr) via a plugin or app that will work with plex ?

The pi2 is the weak point in your setup. If you wanting to run DRM reliant services like DSTV Now, Netflix, Hulu etc then my humble opinion is that you look elsewhere. Wanting to rely on Plex plugins is also not helping your situation.

I run plex server on pc tucked a way on a closet.

Chrome cast in TV

Plex app on tablet and phone

I setup Channel Pear on Plex a while ago but only Fox Sport 1 works nice and looks very good.

Not sure if i need US IP for the other channels, but have not had time to play with it.
