Plex Trailers

Not sure if you are aware but Plex has been updated and has added a few new features but the one I am most interested in is the Trailer feature - https://blog.plex.tv/

This is only available to PlexPass users for the moment but just want to know if anyone was able to get the trailers to work?

I have updated my PMS and refreshed the library but don't have any options to watch the trailers but when I browse the movies in the PMS and click the "..." on the specific movie, it allows me to view the trailer. However when I launch Plex Home Theatre and browse to the movie on my mac, there is no option there either.

Am I missing something or has someone else got this to work yet?

Works perfectly for me, you have to do a "Force Refresh" which rescans all metadata for trailers to be added, new movies have them added automatically.

Yeah have already updated to the latest PMS and did a force refresh. I can see them when I browse the movie in PMS but can't access them through the Plex Home Theatre PC app.

What are you using to view the trailers?

Plex Home Theater 1.2.1 on Windows.

I just tried now again on Plex Home Theatre for windows. I made sure I was signed in under settings and also check my version, currently on version: 1.2.1.314-7cb0133e

Here you go:

If I look in the PMS at that specific movie file, I can view the trailer, but not when I view it in the normal Plex player.

I was accessing it through teamviewer and didn't want to click random buttons when I wasn't there.

How fast is your internet?

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread. Have anyone got Plex Media Server to work with a PS3 with the ability to Fast Forward/Rewind/Pause?

I've only tested it a couple of times at 720p and it worked fine, also 10Mbps line.

Pretty sure the last time I tried it it asked me 1080p, 720p or 480p.
