Plex usernames and hashed passwords potentially compromised in hack

Such a useless bunch of muppets anyways. No wonder it happened.

Riddled with general bugs years later. Billions of server updates.

Struggled to just reset a password the other day for hours with a reset email just not being sent.

Received a warning email for one account but not the other.
 
Just note that where the same password is shared with other services, you would need to re-secure those accounts, too. Just because "securely hashed passwords and authentication data" doesn't mean that the data can't be cracked.
 
An unauthorized third party accessed a limited subset of customer data from one of our databases. While we quickly contained the incident, information that was accessed included emails, usernames, securely hashed passwords and authentication data.
How in today's day and age was the emails not encrypted, seeing that its their second major breach?
 
If anyone has my Plex password, and it doesn't work: I've changed it.

Just add a '1' at the end.
