Plex - watch HD videos

Currently using g-player to watch movies and videos on my iPad3, but the sound is some times out of sync.

First is there a better player for HD when not on wireless?
Second
Will plex stream HD videos to my iPad ok? Have a wireless n connection.

you might want to specify if you are jailbroken or not.... have you tried the xbmc player?

Plex will stream 1080p perfectly to an iPad 3 as long as you have a good wifi connection (wireless n) and the PC running Plex Media Server is fast enough (doesn't have to be hectic fast; my dual core Pentium works fine).

XBMC isn't able to play 1080p on the iPad. Not yet at least, however it will play 720p fine and downscale 1080p to 720p.

Plex is the best solution for watching HD content on your iPad at present.

I personally use AirVideo, since XBMC just cannot keep up on my original iPad

I have tried XBMC on my wifes iPad 2 tho and it works just fine.

The latest nightlies work much better on the retina display, but still pretty buggy.
