So I got to Outlands yesterday.

OMW !!! That place rocks, did 3 quests and got 1/3 into lvl 59 by only doing 3 quests:eek:. Got a blue drop of a mob.. Only me 3rd blue drop of a mob outside an instance ever. That was killing my 5th or 7th mob in outland :eek:

The gear rewards of the quests is amazing, and above that you also get about 2g per quest....

I love Outlands :eek:

only downside... ull need 800k xp from 69-70... can b a painful grind
my 66 alt mage's lvl progress kinda died in Nagrand, 100k into 66, too lazy 2 go any further (havent been cot yet)

grats on getting to outland :)
when u get to about 65, then it really starts to hurt. Grinding is long and tedious. Goodluck :)
I was on 64 and actually stopped for 3 months cause i was demotivated because of the grind... spose i was travelling alot as well and cldnt play as often...

With enough rested bonus it is piss easy. Got my rogue to 69 by only doing quests in Helfire, Zang and Terrokah. Granted doing nagarad at 69 is lower xp then smv or netherstorm, but on the upside less damage taken = less down time = more xp.

And having 3 zones where I can quest at 70, means a shedload of gold.

I agree with Eniigma. I had almost no trouble lvl'ing to 70. The quests themselves are a massive source of easy XP, and if you keep up some rested xp the lvl's should fly by.

If you're too lazy to quest, get a bunch of 70's to run you through top end instances. Even the hardest lvl 70 instance(non-heroic) can be 3manned by well geared players, so taking along a lvl 65 or so will make it more of a challenge for them. I assure you, most 70's are bored out of their minds when not raiding.

btw save all ur quest reward cash as it will pay for ur epic flying mount :)

my 66 had bout 800g saved, then i sent it all 2 my hunter ^^
raiding > lvling an alt
pots can b expensive, so can repairs

Hey Pit,

As far as XP goes, I struggled at 61 in Hellfire. By then I had completed a ton of Q's there already. Was frustrating until I discovered Zang! I love the marsh and haven't finished exploring it as yet. Good Q's and good xp too (10 - 12k per completed Q).

Pit you lvl 60 mount is +-600g.
then your flying mount is 1000g.

I waited to get my lvl 60 horse at lvl 70 so in one day I had to spend 1600g on riding skills and bloody mounts.

I'll have the 600g at lvl 60 ;)

The flying mount might take a little while :D

@ Jase. I'm chasing to catch up to you... Luckly I'm home as from tomorrow till monday due to a little op. so I should be caught up to you by Friday I Hope :)

You guys playing locally or internationally? Maybe I should start again... only played on local servers before.

@blaiz

The CE mount looks nice... im bout 2k till exalted with CE... tho im not forking out 2k gp

reason for the above comment, ive spent roughly 5k gp getting engineering to 375, and over the past week, i now have all the mats for both eng flying mounts :>

2 bad ill have 2 wait till 2mora evening to /showoff it :(

@xrapidx

Pretty much every1 on this forum plays internationally

Yeah, I believe the 2000g is without taking the rep discount into account. I went there on my gf's (ele) shammy, and it was 1700g only and she was revered? I think. Definitely not exalted though.

But yeah, if I had to choose I'd take the harrier looking chopper. :) lucky engineers
