Plug in Power Meter

On Thor link, his product max is 2 000.

the user manual on that link states 15 Amp max, which is over 3000W

edit: but I see it also states the unit should not be used for longer periods above 2000W,without checking if the meter heats up

Modern fridges use nearly nothing. And PCs are not too bad. Only GPUs that start to chew a little if you push them hard. But still, gonna be way under 1200w

We bought a Snappy Chef a month ago. Haven't used stove with solid plates or kettle since then !!

the actual consumption will be much less, as that supply won't be running at full capacity all day

This. 1200 is its capability but consumption depends on the rest of the kit. I'd get a power meter :)

True I can run my fridge on my 24v UPS, chows the battery fast though, as soon as I build up my capacity it will be a permanent feature on the system.

Are these the only ones that can work? i am trying to track where my electricity is going between 4 rooms and 5 double plug sockets.. the 4 rooms are running off 1 circuit in my bd boird. i was hoping for some thing that i could connect to the plugs and get i wireless report on a reciever

Hi
Please can you PM RPM and request you be added as a Company representative -

Geewiz has a lot of fans here don't want you getting banned :D

Apologies - was logged in with my personal account

Well i got the wireless electricity monitors working. i had to use their own wifi SSID and then it connected and joined up with my wifi at home.
The only place i can see my elec usage in on my phone right or can i direct it to my pc ?
Also does it save it's usage? while i am not at home then updates everything when i am in range?

Once you have an account on the Ewelink app, it connects to your device over the internet.
You can then monitor electricity usage from anywhere - be in with wifi, 4G, or even with inflight wifi on an airoplane :p

Re the other 2 questions:
1) You can only view it via the phone app
2) Usage is updated in real time, whether your phone is at home or not. The device communicates directly with the internet

Ah ok. Any idea why network off line comes on? I deleted and re added both but now one stays off line. I switched it off then on and reconnected it twice now..
