I watched Telco on CNBCA yesterday and during a discussion Toby Shapshack made mention of the fact that he had recently switched from TelkomADSL to Plugg. Anybody out there using this service who would care to comment.

Thanks

At R75/gig top up I wont be switching to them anytime soon...

/Googles "Plugg"

Imo, they're really expensive. Between R65 and R63.90 per gig.

Afrihost at R29/gig is much better. Unless I'm missing something here...

I have 10 gigs from Afrihost for R290. IMO Afrihost is extremely reliable I see no reason why I would switch to someone more expensive unless the Afrihost service suddenly degraded.

I think Toby is just peed off with Telkom because they did not invite him to the interim results. I can recall him writing in the times a while back to something to that effect. IMO sour grapes.

Anyway plugg is ridiculous, I will stick to my Telkom do package and my Afrihost. Never had it this good.

Maybe plugg is owned by Toby:p

Toby is the only idiot dumb enough to sign up on plugg so he's getting great speeds because of the amazing contention ratio i guess.
