PLUGG UPCAPPED ADSL

Good Day Guys

I have been with plugg as my adsl ISP for the last 1and a half years i recently upgraded my account to a 4Mg line but the shaping has got so bad my line is practically usable during the day i have resorted to using a 3G toggle i have canceled my account effective of the 1st of June which ISP would you guys recommend i sign up with? i had afrihost in mind are they any good?

Are you sure it's the account and not an issue with your line?

Run some diagnostics during the day to make sure about this otherwise moving ISPs is going to do jack.

Maybe you moved to a cheaper product? Did you enquire at the help desk? I'm sure Janitor will be here soon.

If you need a new ISP you'll have to tell us what your requirements. I.e. usage patters etc.

You not providing much, if any, information to work with.

You are welcome to email me or send PM with your details and include at least a traceroute (or output of the diagnostics as suggested by DrJohnZoidberg) so that I can have a look.

As a a side note; I've asked the admin of this forum to move this posting into the official plugg thread so that we can keep it clean.

Yea. my plug account after all these years is uber slow (websites don't load) during the day. But after 5pm it's fast , back to normal speed.

I'll be honest.. didn't check but think 2-3 stars (prob 2). I do about 140-180Gig p/m. 2 Meg line

But I'll honest, I don't download during the day.. but I couldn't even browse for 2 days during 8am-5pm. After 5pm everything went full speed.
