I am looking to for a pocket sized linux server to act as a Domain controller, USB print server as well as to host network storage (possibly via USB?) in a domestic environment. Can anyone suggest what my options are and where I am likely to get one? Something with Wi-fi built in would be nice.

Nobody has answered to this post yet because as far as I am aware, there is no single solution to this. However, here is a start:
Network storage

Wireless print server with 4x usb

Domain controller
You have two options: either find a gateway router, or get an old pc and configure it as a gateway to server as a domain controller. This is if I correctly understand you.
I wish there was a "pocket sized linux server" to do all of this...

what's the size/requirements?

I think that would depend on the hardware I select, the most important consideration for me was the form factor as well as noise levels I would want something of roughly the size and dimensions of a small router with a solid state drive and as few moving parts as possible, something I could hide away in my AV unit.

The server installs in less than 700Mb (IIRC).
