Are you going to run a separate cable to each camera ?
Better to run cables to different areas and put switch on the end for a few cameras .

My issue is that:

1. I want to install at least 16 cameras (or at least more than 8 ).
2. My 1st choice is the ezviz husky cameras but since I want expandability and stability during loadshedding I wanted to connect via poe.
3. I want a 16 channel poe switch BUT brandnew price jump between 8 and 16 is crazy
2. If I have to, guess I'll have to suck up and pay the price
4. Will get a 500w inverter and link poe switch to inverter
5. Thanks for suggestion ito setting a poe closer. Means I could buy 8 channel **** and transfer video via wifi?
