Polo vivo 1.4

Your username is so fitting. You can start by posting this on the correct forum, and then maybe in the correct section :P

You must of stumbled in your drunkess down the wrong alley. Try two blocks down, down the second street which should have you at http://www.speednsound.co.za/forum/ .

Good luck on your mission. ;)

Sell it, get a faster car.

Although if you're a bit stuck for cash, some VW stickers and GTI badges will probably give you another 20 wkw.

Now that I got most of my laughing out of the way :P

Phase 1 ) Branch manifold + Freeflow Exhaust + Filter(Preferably a performance flatbed filter in the cars original airfilter container) as cone filters without correct induction just suck up hot engine compartment air and reduces performance. If you really want that cone grunt go for a closed BMC system that has a bumper induction.

Phase 2 ) Performance cam shaft + Chip + Dyno tune. There are several good chip brands. A search on speed and sounds forum for local guys and reviews will suffice.

Phase 3 ) sky is the limit. E.g. Turbo + Water/Meth cooling system

Good luck and prepare your wallet.

What can i do to my 1.4 to make it perform better?

To make your internet perform faster, ensure you're not on a congested exchange. This is like driving on a congested road: ignoring contention for a second, having a Lamborghini would be the same as a slow, outdated car, like, say, a Polo 1.4.

I'd suggest going wireless - far less congestion in the air. It would be the same as trading the Polo in for a semi-reliable Learjet.

I'd say go full cold air intake, not just filter. Unless the stock intake is good enough, which I doubt on a Polo 1.4.
