As the title suggests I am having a bit of a problem with my bluetooth connection between my phone and cars radio, basically

1) The radio will end a call and continue playing the station I was on before the call, all OK :o

2) It will play WHATEVER my phone is doing, be it the unlocking "splash" or an alert from Waze and NOT continue playing the station I was listening to

My main problem is specifically when using Waze whilst driving, or unlocking/using my phone when waiting for people I pick up. Basically I have to always manually turn the radio from "Stream" to "FM 1" even though it automatically turns back by itself if a call ends :confused:

Does anyone know of a solution that will cause the radio to switch back to FM 1 after the alert/sounds go off like when a call ends? :confused: Im assuming its the phone that's responsible for ending the "transmission"

Specs: Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 v4.1.1 - not rooted, no custom ROM
Car: Polo Vivo 1.4 Trend, standard radio with bluetooth

If necessary I will root the phone

I had exactly the same issue with my Nokia E71 and my Parrot Bluetooth CK3000 kit... never figured out the solution. Not sure if that would be relevant but though I'd put it out there.

Then moved to Android and because the 3000 isn't A2DP compatible, I can't get anything besides calls to run through the Bluetooth :(
 
I have the exact same problem, and have not yet found a solution. Extremely irritating when using something like Waze.
