Polo Vivo headlight bulbs - ordering for a friend, the LED type replacement. What type should I specify? H1, H7, H4, H3? Are the low beams and high beams separate items and needing separate types?

What is the brightest type for lo beam?

Oh NO, but why? since people don't know that lights should be adjusted do you really need the brightest LED? please just get a proper rating globe, Polo Vivo is a fairly modern car, it should not even have issues of brightness with its standard lights.

Well 15 years old or so ;-). Remember it's the old Type 9N Polo with old Golf 1 stuffs thrown into it. Perhaps they should just replace it with the normal headlight bulb. As the reflectors would need to be changed and adjusted if they replace it with bulbs it didn't come with.

All cars which came with the massive headlights are okay as they have a big reflecting area on the inside, it's your old type cars like your that have lighting issues, same with the rear lights, the Golf 1 had the thin flat type with no surface area to properly reflect light.
