Polo vivo or normal polo?

So my girlfriend is interested in purchasing a car. The car must be an automatic and preferably a Polo (her point of view) . I suggested this Polo Vivo. Its a 2016 model for R155000 with 43000km on the clock. Her suggestion (one minded must be said) is this Polo. Its a 2014 model for R189000 with 81000km. The price different is R34000. What car would be better to get get in terms of reliability and price? I know performance wise the Polo probably kills the Vivo but I think its a waste of money solely because its going to be used to drive to work and thats about it.

And in terms of trade in value? The time she trades the car it will be over 100000km. By how much does the mileage depreciate the Polo? If she trades it in in 5 years time, the car will 10 years old.

Yep, I've seen some pretty dramatic premiums on polo's and add another 25% if you are under 25..
