Pool experts needed

So for the last couple of weeks my pool has started getting this yellow stain to it....It doesnt come off with aggressive scrubbing. And its speading across the pool. Just at the bottom as well, not on the sides/walls.

Ive read its either going to be high iron in the water (we use borehole water) or its a yellow algae.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

I have bought two packs of HTH stain remover and will leave the pool pump running overnight and see whats the result tomorrow but otherwise I don't quite know how to fix this.

The pool has always been easy to look after but all of a sudden its started with this yellow staining.

yeah mine gets that as well . i also use borehole water

its when my chlorine is up

so all i do is add few cups of chlorine and its back to normal

also its winter why you adding stuff now ...if you want it to clear just add some hth or a floater

closer to summer you take the water to a test place like builders and then you get pool ready for summer

I watched this video with the guy using ascorbic acid powder....Have you tried this?

Ja, I use that Activator D as the boss says thats all I need to keep black algae down?
(I dont profess to be a pool expert here so I dont know)

Blu52 for over 5 years . never ever had any issues with unclear pool water .

Yes full of copper, so it keeps algae down till the the shyte hits the fan like now. So there is the problem, too much metal.

I do sometimes play some Lamb of God on on the deck speakers when its quiet here....

Good thing traditionally swimming pools use chlorine to kill most things.
