To all those with pools/splash pools...

They just finished installing a splash pool at my house (16000 L). I am thinking for maintenance sake to go the Blu52 route. So my question is this....do I still need one of those pool floaters if I use Blu52, or will that suffice?

4-6 tablets of chlorine per week in one of those floating baskets works like a charm for me.

I don't know enough about copper to give an authoritative answer, but I've heard that indiscriminate use of copper can stain the pool surface. Blue products usually contain copper.

So do you prefer those floating baskets you top up, or the sealed HTH units you throw away after a month or so?

No floaters w/ blu52. Blu52 works like a charm for some (me) and not for others so if you don't see results pretty fast then drop it.

w/ floaters, try to stick to reputable brands. Some of the cheap ones have too much calcium {I think it was that} in it which is tricky to remove once its in the pool. Had to pump out 1/2 the pool once & refill because the only way to remove it is to dilute it.

Cool dude.Think I'll splurge a bit, get a small hth floater for splash pools and blu52, if the one does not work, I'll use the other

Oh yes and I'll get snot cubes, "sparkle it", love those things, tiny little miracle workers
