I am on a line with the below stats:

4Mbps line - TelkomInternet 10GB + 10GB account (within data limit).

The download speeds range between 80kb per second and 120kb per second. Tested with a mult-threaded download manager, YouTube streaming etc etc.

If I have a download running ~80kb per second pings fly up to 400 - 1000 for google.co.za.

Ja my 4mb uncapped Telkom account is crawling at 260kBps and also got some horrible pings...

I will see if it's possible to check another account however this has been going on for an extended period of time apparently.

They bragging about 10/20 Mbps and can't even get the basic speeds.
I've been having cr@py speeds for some time now. Line won't sync unless I phone my landlines number wtf.....
Working towards going 3g and then 4g when it's covering my area.

If you're using wifi you might want to try Ethernet connection instead - disable the wireless function in your modem.

Your pings look good? Post a traceroute.

WOW... Downstream Attenuation = 450 dB, I'm surprised your modem even connects.
