POOR Vodacom Fibre Support.

In Sept 2024 I made the mistake of changing my fibre connection from Vox to Vodacom, due to a super amazing deal from Vodacom. R300 a month cheaper for the same 50/25 speed.
Then, a year later, that promotion just ended. No communication from Vodacom that that was about to happen. So I just got a nasty surprise one day.

So I wanted to cancel and go back, but typically ISP, I was convinced to get another special deal for higher line speed (which I wanted to do in any case), at a not-to-shabby price, but on a 12 month contract.

That was two weeks ago. So I approved and signed the contract for a 100/50 line, and the consultant said that the new line speed should be active in 24-48 hours. 12 days later I'm STILL on 50/25. I've logged calls per email for second line support on [email protected], phoned support, complained on HelloPeter - all to no avail. Despite all the calls, there has been NO RESPONSE at ALL!! Which I find totally unacceptable.

So I thought I'd contact ISPA. But it turns out, Vodacom isn't an ISPA member. Urgh!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do?
