Poor Webafrica Support: Who is better?

I have been with webafrica for a long time.

They always were very quick to respond to support issues 24/7

Lately this has changed.

I only get them during the week if I use chat.

I went to them as I had enough of Telkom.

But hanging on to the phone for more than 15 mins and still nothing makes me believe they are becoming like Telkom.

Is there another provider who still provide responsive 24/7 ADSL support?

thats just service for you, I doubt any of the providers will give you good service all the time.

The advantage that I have is that my service provider's head office is within walking distance from where I live, so if I have a problem I just walk there and bypass their call center.

Agreed. I can handle problems they may have but feel this may become the trend rather than the exception.

I think I will buy a house next to my future provider ;-)

Dreadful support lately, as mentioned in a separate thread i've been trying to reach them since friday :(

Also, what's happened to their myBB rep? Does he work office hours?

Crystal Web does have 24 hour support during the week. Weekends it is from 10:00 - 17:00 iirc, but don't quote me on the weekend hours.
In my opinion their support is excellent, especially via the Online Chat function.

In my experience email support was a bit meh at one stage. I compare this to the very early days.
I've seen reports that it is also up to par now, but I haven't used the email option in a while.
They also have a Twitter account, but also haven't used that option, due the Online function, that is just spot on.

wwwdotcrystalwebdotcodotza - the chat option is at the bottom right. You do not need an account to chat.

CW's also been up and down. I've considered them but don't want to take a chance.
