Hi All

Was wondering if anyone has started playing??? I am about 2 hours in and I am stuck on such a small issue,could anyone possibly assist

yeah, its latest Prince of Persia.

Maish; I got it on PS3, still same game. Where are you stuck?
 
I have collected enough light seeds to activete my first plate at the temple(I chose the green one)from there i go into this room where the plate is in front of me.Where to from there?????????
 
If it's a gold plate, you have to activate with the triangle button (on PS3).
Are you still in front of the temple at those 4 plates or have you and Elika done the "flying bit" yet? Alternatively, go the the map screen, choose one of the newly unlocked areas, exit from map and then press triangle for that little silver trail to see in which direction you must go.
 
I already selected the green plate and it takes me into a magic room,with the plate in front of me...
 
No the plate is green,It is the plate on the far left that I chose there was an option to choose one of four-there is a red,green blue and yellow one
 
So how does the new Pop look? I just bought the game from take2 and can't wait for tomorrow when it arrives
 
@Gothan: it looks fantastic, cel-shaded, but the art design is very impressive. Some of the bantering dialogue get a bit tedious, but i'm loving the gameplay.
 
Excellent, can't wait, I have been a huge fan since sands of time (even loved warrior within with its amazing godsmack soundtrack!!)
 
Maish, try to reach the plate, as soon as your at it you need to hit triangle.. eer, dunno what that will be on the box, probably Y. With the green you will run fast towards another plate (or platform), when you reach the new plate you just need to hit Y again before you fall, to continue running.

The yellow plates will make you fly and the red and blue ones got some weird flying as well, but at least here you don't haveta watch out for obstacles.

As you unlock plates you can go back to previous levels to reach more energy bubble thingys. You'll see some levels got the red or blue, etc plates even though you don't need them to reach the fertile grounds.

mmm... would love to see what this game looks like. But what irritated me from the ps2 one i last played was that the level designs weren't intuitive enough. You'd get stuck on the dumbest points for hours just cause u couldn't see a small ledge or something and it kinda ruined the momentum....

Nope, its not hard at all. I think there was actually instructions on what to do, maybe Maish turned off the ingame tutorial helper thing which popup which button the press in certain situations, before getting to that part .

This game got a lot of momentum. You can't even die. If you where to jump into oblivion Elika is there to catch you and return you to the previous platform you where standing on so that you can continue without some death screen and loading screen and whatnot.
 
Oh boy, started playing last night, and was blown away!!

The graphics is as close to perfect (imho of course), as can be. Love the "dual" fighting combos with you and the princess.

The only con for me against this game, is the prince itself. I kind of miss the moody, dark prince from warrior within. Have not yet taken to this happy go lucky one from the latest release, but only started playing, so I am pretty sure he will grow in me
