What a dick though, seriously. Could have said a prayer in 9 languages for the world, for peace or whatever...as a gesture of being a servant of God and humility. Instead asks for prayers for himself.

Nothing wrong with him asking for prayers instead of presuming he can pray for everyone which he'd still be lambasted because you'd then just say he's presumptuous

He thinks God is sitting around with his finger on the trigger waiting for more prayers to roll in? Regardless - I don't need an excuse to lambaste their ridiculous pomp & ceremony. The reverence afforded to them is dumbfounding.
