Despite POPI coming into law, I still get numerous unsolicited telephone calls, emails & sms's
It's as though POPI doesn't exist
I can't see any point in reporting to the police, as they are utterly useless
Who can I report transgressors to?

POPI was never written to stop marketing. It was never its aim either.

You do not report anything to the police. Do what the law requires you to do. Opt out. Tell them to remove you from their database. Keep the evidence. If they phone you again, report the incident, with the evidence to the Information Regulator. Without this evidence, the Information Regulator will also not be able to assist you.

Came her for the poppies and left dissapointed.
