Well I am finally getting ADSL, only been waiting for about 6 weeks for it. So I want to buy some games to play online.

Where can I go to find out the number of players on the Saix servers playing or how popular a particular game is?

Is Guild Wars playable on overseas servers or is it just as bad as WoW?

Besides BF2 what other games would you suggest?

1. Dowload the All-Seeing Eye (www.udpsoft.com) and apply the correct filters (i.e Southern Africa servers etc) and then browse how many are playing

Guild wars is a fantastic game, im trying to get an official SA guild started so check the Guild wars thread

i have been told that playing WOW on adsl connecting to a server in the uk is really good, well not as good as local of course but playable, is this true? Cause then i can look into buying it when my adsl finnaly gets installed

Bob, the answer is no. Forget about playing a decent WoW game without an unshaped account. In other words, if you are willing to pay extra (R200 - R300) a month for unshaped like I do, you will enjoy it.

Don't, however, expect good reults from a shaped connection as it is very very very often unplayable.
