Been trying to get my Marconi Router to Forward...

I've been following the instructions on http://www.portforward.com but I'm getting confused... :P

I'm also connecting through Clipse's proxy sever (which BTW is gr8)
My questions are these...
When doing an ipconfig command, which IP address do I use?
I'm getting one for both Ethernet adapter and Ethernet apater LAN (which gives me the IP that Open VPN gives me) now I'm assuming it's the Ethernet LAN IP I want as the non LAN is the same IP I use to connect to my router...

I need this to set up a static IP for port forwarding, but if I use the Open VPN IP, do I still keep my ISP DNS addresses?

Also when I've tried to check if the ports are open through SLSK I get the IP address which is totally different (though I'm assuming that it's the proxy servers IP..)

Any help on this would be appreciated in laymans terms as I'm new to the whole thing of setting static IP's

Hi Schitz, as answered in our forum, connecting to freeproxy would eliminate all needs for port forwarding on your router, you have a "active ip" directly on your machine, to put it at best :)

Lemme know if you still have probs.
