Port forwarding Marconi modem/router

Hi,

I just got the Telkom/Marconi 4 ports modem/router. I use its PPPoE client and router functionality to connect my LAN to the internet.
It is possible to do port forwarding with the Marconi, but this is limited to 20 ports maximum (!). I do not like that because I run an ftp server in pasv mode.
Is there a way to increase the number of open ports, or maybe to allow traffic on ALL ports?
(the latter was possible with my previous modem (Alcatel Speedtouch) by setting a so-called "default server" internal IP address. No harm done, because I ran a software firewall on the local machines).

have you tried the DMZ setting in Misc Configuration, works for me.

I did not know what DMZ was, but it seems to do just what I need. Thanks!
