Port Forwarding not possible on Afrihost - Shared IP

Haha! I got the two confused. :X3:

No worries. I have port forwarding already set up.

No problem.

With a public IP on Frogfoot with Afrihost the IP is unlikely to change unless the router changes or the mac address of the router changes.

Hi,

Sorry for the bad experience you received.

I can definitely assist you with a public IP. Can you send me a pm with your email address for me to assist?
Hi AfriNatic,

I am battling with port forwarding due to similar issue (WAN IP differs from public IP).
I sent you a pm with my details.
Could you please assist me with a public IP?

@AfriNatic I need port forwarding for my security and home automation as well - please assist with removing me from CGNAT as well. PM sent

Hi @AfriNatic @Afrigirl,

Could you possibly assist me with the same?
I have a Metrofibre line through Afrihost and was told I cannot run a DDNS.

Is there any way I can access my internal network from outside?
I need to direct http and https traffic.

Also need to be able to run a ping test for monitoring.

Hi @AfriNatic, I'm PM'd you with my information. Please can you assist so I can get my port forwards working again?
I spent 3 hours with Afrihost support and they weren't able to help me.
