Port Forwarding on Billion 5102S

I have a Billion 5102S router which works really well, but I'm struggling to set up port forwarding. I'm a bit of a newbie in this field. I've studied the manual and googled, but no cigar...

What I would like to do is open up a port for a bittorent client. Currently all I get are local connections, even when I disable ZoneAlarm temporarily. I believe the router is preventing remote connections.

If anyone could help me with a step by step setup process of the admin tools for the router, I'd be really greatful!

The only thing i can think off is set up NAT - SUA and choose your machine in the IP range and select all ports or ports 6881 up to 6999.

Swazi has the right idea. Goto the NAT section, edit the details for the option you have selected and then specifiy your port range and destination IP.

You shouldn't have any problems.

By the way, I highly recommend this modem, works like a charm--just plugged it into my hub and any pc's connected to the hub can access the net. Got mine from Digital Planet.

where do I get the destination ip?

That would be the IP of the PC running the application that requires the port forwarding I assume?

So if for instance, you were running a bittorrent client on your pc, it'd be the IP of your PC on the network, e.g. 192.168.0.2
