Hi Everyone

I have setup a Planet ADE-4100 Router with newest firmware and I have created two PPPoE accounts to split my traffic between local and international. I have now run into the problem of not being able to do port forwarding on this router. Is it because there are multiple accounts and the router doesnt know which one to use? Surely it just picks up the default account specified and works on that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The accounts originate from the router itself.

What I have concluded is that it will receive the incoming request on a specific interface (IP#1) and due to the static routes then sends the data out on a different interface (IP#2). This is very frustrating because I cant set the interface on which this type of data is received. The router software isnt smart enough.

I have now given up on this and gone over to a Billion 7404VGO voip router. this now allows me to select which interface to do the port forwarding on. The routing is still proving to be problematic though. Accessing an international dyndns name from a local ip means it then tries to route replies over the local only interface. which of course doesnt work.

Any suggestions?
