Hello all, me again with the forwarding issue, how do I set up the telkom pots router to forward any information within a port range? I'm trying to get my ICQ file transfer working, I can send file, just the recieve is a problem, because I can't set the router up to the correct ports.

Any help is welcome?

I'm presuming you are using the Marconi router? Here is how I have set up mine and it works for e-mule so it should do the trick:

1. Login to your router and click on the 'Advance Config' tab. Now click on the 'Bridging' tab. Under 'Static Birdge Parameters' you must add you MAC address (use the getmac command in your command prompt) and set all options to 'Forward' (Lan, ATM1 - ATM8)

2. Click on the 'Basic Config' tab and the on the 'PAT' tab. Enter all the ports that you want to forward here. The server IP address should be your machine and the interface should be ATM1.

3. Save & Restart the router.

4. That's it. You're done.
