GOOD DAY LADS

I know forwarding ports is pretty simple to do but i seem to be having troubles with a certain router.

Ok so using a public IP retrieved from WhatsmyIP iv logged onto the router (billion bipac 5200G).
Under NAT iv created a new rule forwarding port 1732 to be used for windows server DirectAccess.
Testing whether the port is open using canyouseeme and it states "Closed".

Further steps taken,

Disabled Firewall on Router,AVG,Windows.
Created inbound Rule on windows firewall advanced -TCP & UDP
No luck.

Any idea what the fault could be,this is really becoming annoying.

To which IP are you forwarding port 1732 to?

Is the target server/IP configured to use this specific router as its gateway?

Easiest way to resolve it would be to post a screenshot of your port forwarding configuration as well as the output of ipconfig /all on the target server/workstation.

That's your problem - you need to put the server/local IP there based on your ipconfig above, it seems that would be 192.168.1.101

It's an incoming connection from an external source using your external IP. So by accessing your external IP on a particular port, your router would then know to forward the request/traffic to the local IP (ie. the one you've now put in your port forwarding table).

Please don't obscure information like local IP's when asking for help.

It's not an externally accessible IP , so your internal range really doesn't need to be obscured AT ALL as nobody can access it. All you're doing is preventing us from assisting you.
