Port to MTN

I bought an mtn sim card in an MTN store and RICA'd it before leaving. I then requested to port my Cell C number on wednesday evening. Since yesterday, the Cell C sim card has stopped working and when I try using the MTN sim card it says it is "RICA barred". I have spent the last 2hours phoning into customer care and the numbers they referred me to (which included a place that said they are not part of MTN). What do I do now as my cell c sim card is not working anymore and people contact me on that number? and the customer care has "champions" that are not very helpful

Call MTN porting department on 083 123 7667 or 083 123 1612

They will be able to advise you why this is happening.

Hi

You need to RICA the new MTN sim. Go to an MTN outlet they should be able to RICA it for you.
