Portable ADSL WI-FI Router/Modem

Hope I am posting in the correct section. During load shedding, I have no internet access. My 4 year old daughter is a power user on Netflix so the 3g 500mb back up does not last long. I see that on Bid or Buy you get "Portable" 3G wifi routers with built-in battery which give (advert claim) up to 10 hours. I am looking for something similar except it should be for ADSL. UPS is not necessary has we are mostly using tablets, and if need be a laptop. Thank in advance.

So should I just take the cheapest UPS. It would only power the modem for 3 hours max.

Does the local ADSL exchange not need power? Even if you have a UPS in your home to power the ADSL router, won't ADSL service be down as long as the power is out?

Try limiting your Netflix quality to SD so less data and more viewing.

See the following thread for some options to keep the ADSL going but as has been said, your exchange may go off. You will need to do some testing .

But is it an ADSL router?

I don't see a port for the ADSL line on the device?
