portable avi player

i am looking for a portable avi player. I was initially waiting for the zune but was surprised that it doesnt support avi. any suggestions?

what kind of avi? AVI is just a container, what codec do you need to use? Xvid, Divx, Mp4? Why do you need to keep the file format?

I have many xvid and divx movies that I want to take with me on vacation I'm not sure about codecs etc. Also, it umst have video/audio out so that I can connect to tv in hotel rooms.

Funnily enough, I just bought myself a Zioncom playTIME unit

Its like an external hard-drive bracket but it plays mp3s/avis (divx/xvid)/jpgs etc
