Portable SSD

I was looking around for a good portable SSD to extend my internal storage. Would need it to run some virtual machines and so on, so an HDD will not be good enough.

Any suggestions of the current state of SSDs for this?
I was looking at laptop direct but not sure if thats a good online shop.

I was interested in the ADATA SD700 as it looks like its affordable and still
a fast enough drive. the Samsung T3/T1 are quite expensive on TakeAlot.

Thanks! Other option would be an external enclosure + SSD but not sure how
performant these are?

Angelbird SSD's are highly rated, might not be the cheapest, but apparently some of the best.
