Hey Guys and girls

I went to portforward.com as i'd just downloaded uTorrent and it's ben a loooong time since i used any torrent programs so completely forgot everything. I followed the steps there but still get a yellow light indicating no incoming connections. I went to canyouseeme.org but it gave this message:

Error: I could not see your service on 41.244.117.177 on port (_ _ _ _ _)
Reason: Connection timed out

I wasn't running uTorrent when i did the check (not sure if that makes a difference or not)

I have a Zyxel iad p2602, i used to use azureus on XP before with this same modem and had no problems once i'd done the steps to open the port up, just wondering what's different on a mac. I checked the firewall and it's set to allow the incoming connections for uTorrent...any ideas or help ??

u need to run utorrent, and test the port from utrorrent, since something must listen on the port you want to test, and utorrent needs to use upnp to tell the router what port to allow in.
