Hello
My wife was on a cell C contact until August last year, prepaid since then. We ported once, halfway: sent the PortMe sms, received the message that the request will be processed, but we phoned to cancel the port for some long forgotten reason.
We're trying to port to MTN again. Tried 3 times ourselves sending the PortMe sms without success. We tried twice in store. MTN gets a technical error on their system, we get error to process messages after our attempts.
So far no success in discussions with MTN - they don't know what the problem is. Cell C sees no problems on their system.
Does anyone know where the problem might lie and who to contact to assist in resolving the issue?
