Porting from MTN to Telkom Mobile

Any information on how to do this ? My contract with MTN has ended and I'm currently on a month to month plan with them. I'd like to take one of those Galaxy S10 plans that Telkom mobile is offering on their website. How do I port my number when doing an online application? Do I need to go into a store to do this?

Apologies if these are dumb questions, I've just never ported from one service provider to another before this.

Just do the application online or instore. For online you will speak to a consultant at verification time, you tell that person you plan to port your number when asked. Instore you tell the consultant
Just follow the steps the consultant gives you, once account activated.
