My wife finally lost her **** with Vodacom completely after they allowed someone to upgrade her contract without her consent and went through the arduous process of canceling these contracts and switching over to prepaid in order to port her numbers to other networks.

The first number that has been tried was from Vodacom to MTN.

As it stands she can make and receive calls without issue. She can send SMS's to anyone and receive from MTN numbers.

She however can't receive any SMS's from outside the MTN network which is causing havoc when it comes to OTP's.

She's been trying to get this sorted with MTN technical support and Port support but isn't getting anywhere.

Is there anyone with any advice on this or a contact within Vodacom who could assist? From reading around the forum it would seem that the routing tables haven't been updated correctly on the Vodacom side.

I went from FNB to Vodacom, no hiccups.
I needed from FNB confirmation to switch. Did this over the FNB app.
Received from Vodacom being approved.
Went back to Vodacom and received new sim. Keeping my old number. They fixed everything there.
Next morning slotted new Vodacom sim. All well.

Being ported several times, MTN-FNB now Vodacom.

Do you still have the Vodacom sim card? Calls and SMS from other networks might still be going to the Vodacom sim card. If so and if you have spare phone you can have both sim cards on till the porting process complete. I have had a similar experience twice. Eventually everything will go to MTN sim card.
