Porting System Down?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to help someone port their MTN prepaid number to a Vodacom prepaid number.

He got a newly rica'd vodacom sim (same rica details as his current sim) and followed the process on the website "portme simnumber" to 0827678287.

He tried over 2 days and got no sms response at all. Phoned mtn they said it's a Vodacom issue and vice versa.

I ported a MTN number over to Vodacom prepaid two nights ago. Worked perfectly. Go into store and ask them to do it for you. Be sure to tell them it is a port and they must remember to Flag it as such when they register it on RICA.

Thanks, phoned vodacom and they said the inital scheduled one didn't go through and was scheduled for 28th May. So got it cancelled and they said to try again.
