Hi,
Anyone any experience with this issue pls? Ported from FNB to MTN last night, the number now can't receive incoming calls from non-MTN numbers, the message when dialing it says (in the FNB ladies voice) "the number does not exist"

However, the number can make outgoing calls, use data, send SMS, just can't receive calls or sms from non MTN numbers.
Looks like it's in some kind of limbo.

I've contacted MTN call centre, and they've not been helpful (they played with call barring settings but it's not that).
FNB I'm planning to call now, and curious if anyone has any tips here

The only departments that you should contact should be the porting departments not customer care.

Unfortunately I can't help you with a contact number..

Hi man, did you get ported? I want to do the same, can you give me the number?

Thanks! managed to get the dept number for MTN
Hi @Hogrod

I am having the same issue. I ported from FNB to Vodacom and people are telling me that when they call me it says that “The number does not exist”

Did you manage to sort out this problem? Can you please share what you did to sort it out and whether if FNB or MTN sorted your problem out?

I would really appreciate some help
