Geez either the players are really pissed off playing at Portsmouth cos this is ridiclous...

3 own goals this past weekend plus a player sent off in the first 10 minutes???? wtf?

Well they drew 1-1. Officials were morons again sending off the wrong player originally *facepalm*

Pompey played really well last night. Commiting mutiny on a sinking ship is pointless.

I see they're in court this morning trying to get a months extension. If they don't get it, they could be finished as a club for now. If they don't get their extension, they will not take part in the premiership. I wonder what will happen to the points system then seeing as some teams have played them twice and others only once.

I also want to see what happens. The Premier League lasted 18 years before a club went bust. I wonder which club is next to go down.

Having thought about it, Portsmouth going out of the premiership could alter a few things. The obvious thing I can think the FA will do will be to scrap the games against Portsmouth and only play 36 games in total. Man U, Arsenal, Man City have played pompy twice which means they will all lose the 6 points they gained against them. Chelsea and Spurs played them only once so they will lose 3 points. Liverpool of coarse lost to pompey so no harm done. Very interesting indeed. I could be wrong though.

Surely they'll just go into administration until the end of the season

Yes they will but they wouldn't be able to take part in the premiership as far as I know.

It's all speculation but I would think that they will be docked 10 or 20 points and therefore carry on in the premiership. There was talk however that they would not be able to compete in the rest of the games which means that there would be a mismatch of points gained from pompey.

I thought it was just a ten point penalty
